I spent like dunno how many days studying physio and i can't even do a single question?!?!?!? wtf... pardon me but im feeling so stressed cos of many factors not just pros alone... thank goodness i read FENG SHEN YAN YI already... i can don watch the show and i realise one thing from the book... when the time comes... the problems that you face usually go as quickly as they arrived as help will only come at a certain timing and that is very crucial...

This is an edition of my post on the Scum Blog... to help readers who are so faithful whether they are supperfungi or teamushroom or dinnermeat or breakfastvegetable...

its very hard to nail everything down to 5 Songs that meant a lot to me... so i shall do 2 lists... 10 songs and singers... though i can say that these lists will change w time depending on the moment... though they hardly fluctuate considering the dismal nature of chinese pop now... not a lot of very nice songs lately... but generally stuff like Jeff Chan, Jacky Cheung, Sandy Lam, Emil Chau, Faye Wong, Sky Wu, A-Mei, Sally Yeh etc... are also good but specific songs only... so many songs... so few to choose

Songs:

1) Xin Tong by Kit Chan... twas my favourite song ever... cos it meant so much to me and everything inside is very true... cos i hurt someone very badly

2) Wang Qing Shui by Andy Lau... the title is damn lame but it is one of the most beautiful laments of all time... regret hits you straight in the face and you wish you had something to make you forget

3) Meng Xing Shi Fen by Chen Shu Hua... Zao zhi dao shang xin zong shi nan mian de... ni you he ku yi wang qing shen.... Cynicism takes over cos You xie shi qing ni xian zai bu bi wen, You xie ren ni yong yuan bu bi deng.

4) Jin Ye Ni Hui Bu Hui Lai by Leon Lai... So sappy... I like... it was from a movie which i watched and realised how beautiful love can be... will you come tonight? is your love still burning?

5) Da Yu De Ye Li by Stella Chang... her piercing soprano voice makes such a beautiful contrast w the overpowering sadness of the song... On a stormy night, I wish i never woke up from my beautiful dream

6) Ying Huo Chong by Annie Yi... ying huo chong, ying huo chong, man man fei... wo de xin, wo de xin, hai zai zui... self-explanatory unless you dunno chinese... my heart pines for somebody

7) Yi Chang You Xi Yi Chang Meng by Dave Wang... life is but a game and a dream... don talk about goodbyes and commitments... I can resume my original life without you... can I?

8) Ling Wu by Xin Xiao Qi... i really needed this... painful realisations of the past... i needed to ling wu... not just understand... I wanted revenge... but i never did... cos you were once my all

9) Da Yue Zai Dong Ji by Chi Chin... it was a nostalgic song that i think was one of the first songs that i started singing karaoke w... it was so idealistic and so innocent at first... so romantic

10) Wo De Xin Tai Luan by Chou Chuan Xiong aka Xiao Gang... I need some space as i have too many troubles on my mind... Let me bear all the blame even if its not my fault... i must isolate myself

If I were to choose 5 songs i really cant cos even for this set i left out a few duets and pop groups... let me add 10 more songs here

Will not be explaining these songs as it will take too much time and it most probably repeats certain forgotten memories or feelings i had for certain people... Im not particularly lyric-specific but more atmosphere... the songs i only like certain parts of the song with the specific phrase of lyrics in mind with the backdrop of the music... Yes I'm quite nostalgic and for such an anglophone im surprisingly chinese... Unexpected? Yes? I don feel the need to bare myself to the world so this is already a rather personal insight into what i feel and what i think... taking a certain risk here cos people might misinterpret what i say... and who i like...

I know my secret admirer is a girl and i definitely do not drool over XXX XXXXXX so don insinuate... that only shows how well i let the existing stereotypes perpetuate around... as it only shows how many people are willing to take everything at face value... i will only appreciate people who take the effort to know me more as a friend... be it only 8 months...

Its quite telling of principles when a joke is in the form of disparaging music tastes especially if that person doesn't interact w u often and is not some foulsome Uruk-hai or a mighty balrog but a cheerful hobbit whose warcry is that life is great... in his own way he is truly different and deserves more respect and worth... life is greater w u around.

English songs i can leave it for another day cos i prefet more sappy stuff like disney songs and Remember Cd stuff but i do appreciate Coldplay, Moby etc... But most of all i love Kylie Minogue... Can't get her out of my head... She is my love motif... she is the epitome of cool... cos she is comfortable w doing what she likes even though she is like 30+... That type of stylistic freedom is so cool cos you take such an alternative route... I like...
