Was reading a few blogs and today's newspapers, which touched my thinking side a bit.

Generation Why?. Personally I believe that it is a good thing to have these people who are willing to drop everything they have in order to pursue their passions. For money is not everything and sometimes love and passion makes up for what money can't buy. And you shouldn't work for money but for love and passion. Financial reward should be something that comes as a natural progression for infecting others with your enthusiasm. I believe that that is the way things should be done, as in you are rewarded for your passion. Be it helping people or just following your heart, it is absolutely vital to find satisfaction in what you do.

Well, as for myself, i must admit, I do not see myself as only a doctor. I want to do other things which i find interesting. And there might be the possibility i might emulate a certain Dr. Bey who works at EDB now. He left his medical profession to enter the biomedical industry. Not a total imitation but i just want to pursue my dreams. Who knows where i might be in the next 10 years? I hope that i can have the best of both worlds but if i had to put it to a choice, i will follow my heart. Experience has proven that when there is a will there is a way, and in this case, i tend to be more successful following my heart than my mind. Although it was my mind that did most of the success, but the heart was there. Somerset Maugham was a doc. So were many writers. The opportunities life provides are plentiful, but its up to us to take up the challenge.

From a few people's blogs, christmas lists have been up. Ha. So i shall put mine.

1) Bluetooth Adaptor ( For my HP!)
2) Football Manager ( The new version of CM after the companies split )
3) De-Lovely DVD ( I only buy 1 original DVD every year. Its supposed to represent the nicest show that i have watched in this year.)
4) Calendar. ( Maybe something scenic like the 365 days of France one)

I guess this is all. There is nothing really necessary now. When i go out, i hardly buy anything except food. Even clothes hold nothing interesting. What i really wish somebody out there could get me is a Marble Chess Table with Glass Chess Pieces. Its like so nice. I wanted it since i was 6. That is wishful thinking on my part. It appeals to my intellectual side.
