In case you have been wondering, Arthur Miller is dead. He was the person who wrote The Crucible and Death of a Salesman. Thus the post.

Moving on.

CNY was ok, but it isn't my sort of thing. You are related in blood but you only meet each other once a year. It gets a bit awkward talking to cousins who are either too young or too old. And besides, i am an uncle to like god knows how many tots already. URGH. The thought of it makes me wanna puke. Am i that old? And i believe you can infer that i am stuck in the middle of no where. My second cousins are the nearest to me in terms of age. First cousins are all so different. They are either grappling with their PSLEs and Through-trains or they are grappling with office politics and work issues. What am i grappling with? Robbins maybe.

First day was ok, just ignore the previous post. Its a bit of pent up frustration at others. Second day was ok except that i didn't want to go for a party due to my tiredness and exhaustion. To be honest, i don't quite fancy hoping around houses. It kind of sucks at times even though there are red packets. I would bi4 nian2 if i were given a choice.

Third Day. Well, at least there was some fun hanging around with a few close friends and teaching the art of mahjong and bridge. As it were amongst close friends, the gathering was a lot more casual and friendly. And tons of food too! After that, i picked up a few things along the way especially during the MPH 20% storewide discount. Qutie happy with my purchases. Then proceeded to meet another bunch near bugis. Had pizza and another casual card playing round. No gambling for me though.

On the way home i must add that i had some fantastic company. Sometimes i don't know why i closed myself up. Maybe it was pride on my part. But times and people have changed and i am more accepting now of certain ways of the world and i guess that it is extremely important to have friends outside medicine. They help give you a reality check time and time again. Life is not as rosy and plesant as medicine makes it out to be and these friends help keep me rooted as i have the tendecy to drift into flights of fantasy.

Fourth day. Well, was feeling extremely sick from overdosing on pineapple tarts and other CNY goodies. But managed to go out and say a farewell to a friend who is leaving for oz. Also manage to get a few important things. I like my mode of shopping now. It is what i called motivated shopping. Not aimless wandering like the past. Now i shop for what i need and not for whatever catches my fancy. Like i bought a birthday card and other important stuff that are coming up.

Fifth day. Finally i got some rest. I don't think i got anything useful done this week though. But well, i think that the week was well spent. Time to mug. As the holiday is over. Besides, i am feeling much better from my bout of sore throat and cough and fever whatever that assailed me during CNY.

Serious stuff will appear later. Thinking how am i going to say it.
