Today is a long day. Really quite sia suay, not only long and tiring but also had tons of uncooperative patients and tons of free time to OTOT. Never mind about that, we shall just leave it as that.

Well, today evening, i decided to meet up with one of my old friends who is more like a sister than anything else. Its always such a pleasure to meet up with the lovely MX, who has fortunately survived her exams in NUS. From what i heard it is certainly a harrowing experience. Well, she looks radiant and happy as usual and is jetting of to wintry Scandinavia for her hols whilst i am stuck in SGH. Since it so rare that i actually get to meet up with her, we decided to spend a good part of the evening in conversation and naturally, she being my fashion consultant, was heartily reccomending me ties to wear for clinics. And my my, she certainly has good and expensive taste. Her reccomendations were nothing short of fabulous. Gucci, Hermes and Valentino. And they looked lovely too. But of course, the loveliest of all was not the ties. But the main focus was not shopping but catching up on the times and the conversation was least to say wonderful. Considering the previous few posts on my blog, her presence was enough to enliven my day. Only so few people have that effect on me, thus i should meet up with her more often. Couldn't stop laughing my head off especially when we were talking and walking. It is so so enjoyable and fun. Wished that she was in Medicine though, but absence makes the heart grow fonder. Like they say, good friends may be seperated by land and sea, but when they meet, the conversation never did end, it was merely interrupted by distance. How true.
