We all fail to see the light at the end of the tunnel at certain times in our lives. It is during these times in out lives that doubt and suspicion creep into us and makes life all the more unbearable. To even think about such things sometimes makes me wonder if there is a lot at stake. Is there so much that even such a simple act could take so much symbolism. Words elude me as I type this as the taste in my mouth is so bitter i dare not describe it. It reeks of nothing good and casts a huge shadow upon many a good thing. For what i have been doing over the past few days has taught me not to cast such an aspersion upon this incident but old habits die hard and the self-projection maybe at play here. I just hope that maybe i am wrong in doing so. I think i shall have to forgo my books for tonight and pray very hard that what i have perceived is not true though in my heart i know that the darkness of humankind is found not in the deepest reaches of the Congo, nor does it lie beneath the shifting sands of the Sahara or the calm trenches of the Pacific but in the heart of man. Yes, in the heart of man only such things occur. And i fear the worst.
