Well, it has been a bad week. Kylie having breast cancer and Parma losing to Juventus. Well well, life can't always go well can it? People tend to blow hot and cold and also they can be rude and confrontational and aggressive and at times unbelievable. Yes you heard me right. UNBELIEVABLE. You can never expect to know what others can do and are capable of doing. Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE.

Lately i have been resorting to prayer to help me cope with the day to day difficulties in my life and one prayer keeps on reminding me of how God wants us to deal with the problems in life. If only i can live up to the tenets of life that is espoused by this prayer. It maybe a Catholic prayer but its values are embraced by all religions. It truly is a wonderful prayer of peace and love.

Lord, make me a channel of thy peace,
that where there is hatred, I may bring love;
that where there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness;
that where there is discord, I may bring harmony;
that where there is error, I may bring truth;
that where there is doubt, I may bring faith;
that where there is despair, I may bring hope;
that where there are shadows, I may bring light;
that where there is sadness, I may bring joy.
Lord, grant that I may seek rather to comfort than to be comforted;
to understand, than to be understood;
to love, than to be loved.
For it is by self-forgetting that one finds.
It is by forgiving that one is forgiven.
It is by dying that one awakens to Eternal Life.
